Buenos Aires, November 14 (NA) – The president of YPF, Horacio Marín, informed that the company reached a historic record by surpassing 200,000 barrels of shale oil per day. Marín highlighted that this milestone represents an 82% growth in non-conventional production, which was 110,000 barrels per day less than two years ago. "This record consolidates YPF as a leader in the development of Vaca Muerta," stated the executive in a communication obtained by NA. Marín attributed this achievement to a profound transformation in operational methods, including the incorporation of cutting-edge technology such as the Real Time Intelligence Center, artificial intelligence, and predictive analytics, along with continuous improvement methodologies like the Toyota Well project. The company's CEO especially recognized the work of the Upstream team for its results-oriented approach, operational excellence, and collaboration, making special mention of Matías Farina.
